Grizzlies Add Forward Jack Walker to the Roster
West Valley City, Utah – The Utah Grizzlies have added 22 year old forward Jack Walker to the active roster. Walker had been playing for the Aalborg Pirates in Denmark.
This will be Walker’s 2nd year in the ECHL. He played in 40 games for Rapid City in the 2017-18 season, where he had 11 goals and 18 assists in 40 games. Walker also played in 3 games for the AHL’s Iowa Wild.
“Jack is a speedy and skilled forward,” says Head Coach/General Manager Tim Branham. “He will add depth to our group.”
Jack played for the WHL’s Victoria Royals for 5 seasons from 2013-17. He had 101 goals and 147 assists in his time in the WHL.
Walker was drafted in the 6th round, 152nd overall pick of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Grizzlies notes: Walker was a teammate of Grizzlies Goaltender Christian Frey with Rapid City last season. In a separate roster move, Forward Brendan Harms was traded to the Greenville Swamp Rabbits for future considerations. Harms had 14 goals and 27 assists in 73 games in a Utah uniform.
