David G. Elmore – along with Donna Tuttle serve as the Co-Partners of the Elmore-Tuttle Sports Group which houses six professional sports teams including the hockey club the Utah Grizzlies, and baseball teams, the Inland Empire Sixty-Sixers, the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, the San Antonio Missions, the Eugene Emeralds, and the Idaho Falls Chukars.
Elmore also serves as the Chairman and Owner of Cartan Tours Inc., which specializes in ticketing and travel for the worldwide Olympic games.
Both an attorney and certified public accountant, Elmore graduated Order of Coif from the Indiana University School of Business and Law in 1958. He began his law career with the Chicago law firm of McBride, Baker, Weinke, and Schlosser. In 1968, he became President of Bankers United Life Assurance Co. in Oakbrook, Illinois.
In the 1970s, Elmore acquired several travel companies. He now has interests in many fields, including life insurance, real estate, hotels, travel, sports marketing and special event management. Dave Elmore has purposely built the Elmore-Tuttle Sports Group to be a diverse organization, including many companies specializing in sports, entertainment and event management. He is the Co-Chair and Co-Owner of Centennial Management, which operates the Maverik Center and Diamond Concessions.
Elmore is recognized nationally for his accomplishments in travel and tourism. In 1984, he was appointed to the Travel and Tourism Advisory Board by the Secretary of Commerce and in 1987 served as Vice Chairman of the Board. He also served as Chairman of the Travel and Tourism Committee for the National Council for U.S. China Trade.
