Chris Schornack, 24, came to Utah after spending the 2016-2017 season with the Amarillo Bulls of the North American Hockey League as Head Equipment Manager/Assistant Director of Hockey Operations. He assisted the Anaheim Ducks AHL affiliate in San Diego during the 2017 playoffs along with Branham, Grizzlies Head Athletic Trainer Cole Libby and former Grizzlies Head Equipment Manager Ryan Tall. Schornack spent the 2015-2016 season as the Head Equipment Manager at Adrian College where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Sport Management in 2015. While in college, the Michigan native worked in professional baseball as the Clubhouse Manager for the Washington Wild Things of the Frontier League and at the Detroit Tigers Spring Training facility in Lakeland, Florida. Growing up, he served as a Stick Boy for the Motor City Mechanics of the United Hockey League.
