9 Former Grizzlies On NHL Opening Night Rosters

West Valley City, Utah - 9 former Utah Grizzlies are on NHL rosters as the league opens the season tonight with four games.

Three former Grizzlies will be on the Calgary Flames roster when they take on Edmonton this evening in Micheal Ferland, Joseph Cramarossa and Mike Smith.

Micheal Haley (Florida), Trevor Daley (Detroit) and Mark Streit (Montreal) will all debut with new teams in 2017-2018.

Aaron Dell returns to San Jose after going 11-6-1 with a 2.00 Goals-Against-Average and a .931 Save Percentage during his rookie season in 2016-2017.

Two-Time Stanley Cup Champion and Utah native Trevor Lewis enters his eleventh season with the Los Angeles Kings.

Former Grizzlies forward Steve Ott begins his coaching career as an Assistant Coach with the St. Louis Blues after an 848 game NHL career.
