West Valley City, Utah – Utah Grizzlies Head Coach/General Manager Tim Branham announced today that the team has acquired the rights to forward Kyle Thomas from the Fort Wayne Komets.
In exchange, the Grizzlies have sent the rights of Ralph Cuddemi to Indiana.
Thomas comes to Utah after totaling 69 points in 58 games on 27 goals and 42 assists last year for the Komets as their second leading scorer. He has 113 points in 126 ECHL games with Fort Wayne on 42 goals and 71 assists. He tallied nine goals and nine assists for 18 points in 29 playoff games the past three seasons.
