Ryan Faragher Named ECHL Goaltender Of The Week

West Valley City, Utah – Ryan Faragher of the Utah Grizzlies is the CCM ECHL Goaltender of the Week for March 20-26. 

It marks the third-straight season to start his career that Faragher has been named the ECHL’s Goaltender of the Week once during the season.
 
Faragher had a 2.05 goals-against average and a save percentage of .947 in three appearances last week against Colorado.
 
He stopped all 21 shots that he faced in 26:48 of playing time in a 5-2 win in a relief effort at Colorado on Friday following an injury to starter Rob Nichols. He turned aside 41 shots in a 4-1 victory over the Eagles on Saturday.
 
Under a National Hockey League contract with Anaheim, Faragher has seen action in 103 career games with Utah posting a record of 51-36-11 with six shutouts, a 2.69 goals-against average and a save percentage of .908. 
 
Prior to turning pro, Faragher played three seasons at St. Cloud State University, appearing in 98 games with an overall record of 53-34-8 with five shutouts, a 2.58 goals-against average and a save percentage of .911.
 
The Grizzlies return to action Wednesday, Friday and Saturday in Rapid City. They return home to close the regular season Wednesday, April 5; Friday, April 7 and Saturday, April 8.

Fan Appreciation Weekend
The Grizzlies host Fan Appreciation Weekend, presented by the Utah Building and Construction Trades Council, Friday, April 7 and Saturday, April 8. The weekend will feature any ticket in the lower bowl for $13, excluding rinksides at the Maverik Center Box Office. Fans can also add on a gyro and a soft drink for $10. In addition, fans can add a ticket to see Brit Floyd at Maverik Center on July 6 for only $13 (Regular $29.) Saturday’s game will also feature a team poster giveaway to the first 5,000 fans. Fans can get them autographed by the entire team after the game.
