Utah’s last scheduled morning game came on November 14, 2006 as current Utah Assistant Coach and now All-Time Leading scorer Ryan Kinasewich scored the game’s first goal 1:18 into the contest. Head Coach Jason Christie got a Game Misconduct at the end of the game from referee Josh Ellis, who we saw the last several years as a linesman in Alaska. Kinasewich also got an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty in the game that saw power-plays at 11-4 in favor of the Condors.

This is Utah’s second trip to Rapid City in less than two weeks as the Grizzlies earned three of six points here January 19-22 as the Rush were in the middle of a 7-3-1-0 stretch. Rapid City has since lost four-straight and been outscored 13-6.

Utah’s 5-3 win Saturday in Idaho was similar to their last game here in that they trailed 1-0 and 2-1 before pulling away 6-3 on January 21.
The team that has scored first has not won six of the last seven games involving the Grizzlies.
