-Reid has 9 goals and 9 assists for 18 points in 20 career ECHL playoff games.
-He has 13 goals and 18 assists for 31 points in 39 career playoff games overall.

-Austen Brassard has a three-game scoring streak with two goals and two assists.
-He has been involved in Utah’s first goal in three-straight games.
-Utah is 5-1-0-1 in their last seven Saturday night games.

-Allen has scored three of their nine goals on the power-play, one empty-netter and five five-on-five goals in three games.
-Utah has scored seven of their nine goals at even, with six five-on-five, one four-on-four to go along with two power-play goals.
-Utah has led each game 2-1 during the course of the action.
First On The Board
-Austen Brassard has scored Utah’s first goal in two-straight games.
-Erik Higby is the only Grizzlies player to have scored in all three games with one goal and two assists.
-Two of Higby’s three points have come on the power-play.
-Erik Bradford and Garrett Haar each have two assists in the last two games.
-Utah’s crowd of 5,315 on Wednesday was easily the top attendance in the ECHL on Wednesday by almost 3,000 as Idaho drew 2,524; Quad City paraded in 1,969 spectators and Kalamazoo saw 1,272 fans elbow their way in for playoff action.

-Two-straight and two of three meetings overall between Utah and Allen went past regulation at Maverik Center with the last meeting taking place November 23.
-C.J. Eick (one goal, two assists), Jon Puskar (one goal, three assists) and Erik Higby (one goal, one assist) have scored in both games.
-C.J. Eick, Jon Puskar, Austen Brassard and Ralph Cuddemi both have multiple-point games in the postseason so far.
-Eick and Puskar were both a plus-one in game one and a plus-three in game two.
-Phil Pietroniro is a plus in both games with a plus-one in game one and a plus-two in game two.
Three Or More
-Utah has scored three goals or more in nine of the last eleven games and four goals or more in seven of the last 10 contests.
Period By Period
-Utah has outscored Allen 3-1 in the first, 4-1 in the second and been outscored 3-0 in the third.
-Utah has outshot Allen 26-14 in the first, been outshot 22-14 in the second and 26-14 in the third periods.
-The winner of this series will face the winner of the Idaho Steelheads/Colorado Eagles series which resumes tonight in Boise also tied at 1.

Game 2, 2-Straight
-Friday was Allen’s first loss in regulation since a 3-2 loss against Rapid City on February 19. They lost the previous night in overtime to Rapid City.
-Allen goaltender Riley Gill lost in regulation Friday for the first time since December 2.
-Gill last loss back-to-back games November 25 and 26.

The Grizzlies led the contest for 38:19 on Wednesday night and trailed for only 8:56.
10 of Utah’s 16 skaters had at least two shots on goal.
The Grizzlies want to replicate the first period from Wednesday when they took a 2-1 lead to the first intermission, outshot Allen 11-5 and drew the first three power-plays of the game.
C.J. Eick has three goals in his last two games overall and two goals in his last two games played in Allen.
Ralph Cuddemi had two assists in his first professional playoff game.
With that, Utah now has three of the top five rookie scorers through two days of the playoffs with Marc-Andre Levesque also adding a goal Wednesday. The referees on the ice credited Utah’s second goal to Erik Higby, but it obviously went off of Allen’s Gary Steffes and Higby was clearly seen pointing at Levesque after the goal.

The Grizzlies have defeated their division champions in the first round in two-straight years as they look to make it three years in a row against Allen.
Utah recorded 131 shots in three games against Missouri for an average of 43.66 a game in three games last week. They recorded 40 or more shots against Allen in three of four games this year. Utah has 39 or more shots against Allen in seven of their ten total games played.
Utah looks to put their stellar first round record in regulation on the line tonight. They are 8-1 the last two seasons in regulation in the first round, losing three games in overtime.
No one in the ECHL has played more games since Mathieu Aubin started as a rookie in 2006-2007 with over 600 games played. He’s also played in 92 career playoff games.
Utah is 5-1-1-0 in their last seven Wednesday night games.

-The Grizzlies (35-29-5-2) clinched their tenth-straight playoff berth last night when the Idaho Steelheads defeated the Alaska Aces 1-0.
-Utah will open the playoffs Wednesday and Friday in Allen with the series returning to Utah Wednesday, April 19; Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22.
-The Americans clinched the Mountain Division Championship Friday with a 4-3 win over Tulsa.
Did You Know?
-Utah, Allen, Fort Wayne and South Carolina are the only four ECHL teams who have won at least one playoff series in two-straight years entering the 2017 post season.
-Utah is 8-0-0-1 in their last nine season finales going back to 2008.
-With 71 games played Mathieu Aubin and Gabriel Verpaelst will have played in 71 of 72 games this year.
-It is the second time in three years that Mathieu Aubin has played in at least 71 games after becoming the first Utah player since 2007-2007 to play in all 72 in 2014-2015.

Looking For Seven-Straight Again
-The Grizzlies are looking for their second seven-game winning streak of the season after previously winning seven-straight games January 20-February 4.
Who Would Be Next
-The Grizzlies would face the Mountain Division Champion in the first round of the playoffs next week.
-Allen’s magic number for clinching the Mountain Division is one. They play Tulsa and Wichita to finish the season. Colorado plays two games in Rapid City.
-Both Utah and Allen bring six-game winning streaks into Friday.
How You Finish
-Utah is 10-4-1-0 since March 1, Alaska is 5-11-0-1 and Missouri is 6-9-1-0.
-Utah outshot Missouri 20-6 in the first period, 40-20 in the game and drew 5-7 power-plays in the 2-1 overtime win.
-Utah outshot Missouri in every period; 20-6 in the first, 11-8 in the second and 7-6 in the third.

-Utah beat Missouri 5-3 on December 28 in Kansas City.
-Four of the eight goals in the game were scored on special teams with Utah scoring five-on-four and shorthanded and Missouri scoring two five-on-four power-play goals 63 seconds apart in the third period to make a 4-1 game 4-3.
-Utah led 3-1 after one period after giving up a goal in the first 43 seconds.
-The line of Erik Bradford (four assists, plus-three), Mathieu Aubin (one goal, two assists, plus three) and Michael Pelech (two goals) combined for three goals, six assists and a plus-nine.
-Utah went 1-4 on the power-play and 4-6 on the penalty-kill.
-Utah has scored a first period goal in seven-straight games and has scored the game’s first goal in six-straight games.

-Utah is 6-0-0-1 on their final home stands of the year under Tim Branham and 15-4-2-2 on their final home stands going back to the 2007-2008 season.

Utah looks for a 5-0 road trip tonight as they’ve scored four or more in each game thus far and not allowed more than two goals in a game. They’ve outscored the opposition 18-7 during the trip.
The Grizzlies have closed out wins with big insurance goals during this four-game trip. They’ve outscored the opposition 6-1 in the third period and led all four games after two periods.
Utah has outscored the opposition 15-4 five-on-five in the last five games.
Utah’s best stretches of the season have come when scoring first period goals in consecutive games. A first period goal in six-straight is the second longest stretch of the season during a 4-2 run. Utah went 8-1 from January 14-February 3 when they scored a first period goal in nine-straight games.
Before the trip, we had mentioned the Grizzlies success on recent trips with extended time on the road. This trip has been no different, in fact it can be the best long trip the Grizzlies have had.

2016-2017: 4-0 so far
Last night’s win clinched Utah a winning season for the 19th time in 22 years, even with the team at one point being 9-16-1-1 and an 0-8-1-0 in a stretch in December. Utah is 33-15-4-1 minus that nine-game winless streak and a six-game winless streak in February.
A win tonight gives Utah their second winning season in three years on the road, even with their 2-10 start away from home.
The Grizzlies have had a player score two goals in five-straight games.
